Diamond Auroras

A new aurora design featuring hand painted auroras and towering mountains together in a unique diamond frame. The lake piece is a little test project and is the first piece I’ve included a body of water in. 
The cedar in these pieces was sourced from a fence demolition in the community of Mount Royal in Calgary. There were many centipedes, false widow spiders and wasps that joined me on this demo but it was well worth rescuing this stunning dark cedar! Each piece is finished with a generous application of tung oil.
