Hello, Heaven

It’s not often I find such beautiful dark cedar and I always save it for when inspiration strikes! Although I was hesitant of all the colour at first, I think the rich dark cedar and vibrant colourful sky complement one another. If you look closely you’ll see the big dipper, little dipper and orion constellations among the dancing aurora. 
The cedar mountains and frame were off cuts from a contractor who was selling them for firewood. The piece is finished with a generous coat of tung oil and comes ready to hang with wire across the back.
