Mini Dragonflies

I absolutely love late summer lake trips, especially in the evening. Our family likes to bring our camping chairs out to a lake in Banff to watch the sunset. The water dances in the cool breeze while dragonflies hunt for mosquitos around us and it’s heavenly. These minis are inspired by these perfect nights spent in the mountains.
Each piece is hand painted and features dragonflies with wood burned flight paths. The mountains and frames are made of reclaimed 30+ year old cedar off cuts from a sawmill in Calgary. Each piece is finished with a generous application of tung oil.
