Montane Collection- Fresh Start
This piece features a vibrant green aurora dancing over towering cedar mountains. To me this piece represents the fresh start that often comes with spring; that little flicker of excitement I feel in my chest when I notice the sun is out just a tad later. A reminder that even after the darkest, harshest winter nature starts fresh with new, bright green foliage and the emergence of the first ladybugs from the dried foliage of last year. The light always returns, even if it feels the darkness is never ending.

The larger mountains in this piece are made of discarded cedar boards once used by a contractor in Calgary, they were destined for a fire pit. The smaller mountains are made of very old cedar fence boards that were destined for the landfill. The piece is finished with a generous application of tung oil to enhance the stunning wood and protect it for years to come.
Mounting Information
This piece of art is heavy and requires being mounted into studs in order to be hung safely.
